The Visit
Grandmommy and Granddaddy Walker came to visit. Notice the poor sad corner of the yard. Notice the planning, measuring, and thinking.
Then posts went up. Whoops, they are not too straight. Quick, prop them up.
All straight and perfect and finally Rick and Dad were able to scale the structure and spy on the neighbors. Success.
There are lights at night in the flower beds now too. Very, very nice improvements in the yard! Thanks Granddad.
Lauri and family came for a short visit too! Doesn't get any better! I think those are Aaron's and Zachary's legs and arms. They were here too!
Atticus loved Lauri because she knows all about beagles.

It looks so nice! I see my poor Tweetie in the picture with Lauri.
Aww, I just loved getting to see Atticus! I'm not gonna show this post to Daisy though. I wouldn't want her getting jealous. :) Teehee!
You certainly dressed up your yard! Way to go Uncle Rick and Gdad!
Cool, Spying on neighbors is so expected, banks will give home improvement loans with that as a valid reason.
Lights in the trees and shrubs. Nice touch. All we have is weeds, but they are lit up so the neighbors will notice them when they spy on us.
You can tell those are my legs because of the glowing shoes. I bought them to take away the attention from my face!
It was great to spend time with y'all and I'm glad that you now have a abroryie or whatever.
Zachary we disagree or maybe you have missed your calling. We think those are preacher legs.
Hello, Mimi and Poppy! We had such a good visit with you. Hey, the lights out back look great! Caleb & Lauri are coming to spend the first full week of July with us, and we're anxious to introduce them to Bella. Then they will have seen pretty much the whole family!!
We had such a great visit with you, even if it was brief! Girl, you could hire out as a caterer!! Love you. COG
In answer to your question on Lindsay's blog, yes I do have a cat. We've had Fred for about 9 years now, and he did very well when he moved with us. He then lived in our back yard, and liked it there! That is of course until Daisy kicked him out, and now he lives in the garage. He occasionally ventures into the back yard, only to be again freaked out by the Daisy. He's kind of an old man cat, but he's becoming more social in his old age. I feel a little bad that he doen't get much attention compared to Daisy though.
